Steven runs into Odette after she spoke to Dave about what she gleaned from Sonora. Odette catches Steven up to speed with what she knows, and the two make a plan to try to use Odette's invite to get into the gala, with Steven as Odette's "plus one." Odette resolves herself to help Sonora, if only on the pretense to keep her from getting killed, and Steven decides to attend in order to help any innocents who might get stuck in the crossfire of any potential scuffle.
