Ghaspius has received an invitation to an interview at the museum. He, Andre and Koa arrive at the scene and decide to take a tour on the trolley to meet the interviewer faster.

- The Conductor, a Dwebble, tells the group this and that about Novelux and its recent happenings. Apparently, there's been trouble in town, with a recent murder, kidnapping and a string of arsons. There is talk of terrorists and the Vanguard.- Archaludon Lennox Fermlein, the founder of Fermlein Steel, is also brought up.- After the tour, a stranger bumps into Ghaspius, stealthily giving him a note with secret code. The group deciphers the code, which reveals a message that Ghaspius passed the interview with instructions on where to meet for the second interview.
