* The Cyclone claims to be a "force of nature" that "acts without reason", with disdain for "civilized" behavior and for the offworlders in particular. He seems amused by the idea that they could be killed by random chance, and wants to defeat many of them in battle.
* He agrees to meet the Wayfarers who would challenge him at the Escarpa Clan's stomping grounds; if they don't, he'll hunt them down.
* Xoco explains that groups of Escarpa warriors sometimes challenge the Cyclone, though it's not clear whether they're doing it out of their own interest or just to placate the Saint. There were rumors a few years ago that some warriors might actually have managed to defeat him, but she's not sure of the truth.
