* The party is able to defeat the rangers successfully, earning their respect, some ranger training, and a willingness to collaborate on scouting and protecting the region.
* Ayda reveals that she's heard rumors of "witching beasts" but hasn't had the personnel available to really investigate. She wants to learn more about what the party knows, and agrees to discuss the matter at Ranger HQ later.
* The strange nidoran several characters have encountered before is here, relaxing with Ayda and Razael while they wait. He seems to be friendly with them as well, and the Ranger Union sees him as a sort of "mascot". They don't know anything about the errands he's been running in town, however; they say he simply comes and goes as he pleases.
* Nidoran apparently has the ability to provide some sort of temporary relief for the discomfort caused by Nova's helmet.
