Steven, Koa, Nova and Gladion descend into Blackglass Caldera, following Powehi's suggestion, in hopes of learning more about what happened centuries ago between him and Auriga. How a pointed stone can tear a canvas.
There in the steaming depths, a tragedy long past plays out before them. Lorrel Victini, summoned brashly by Auriga, takes drastic action to save Forlas from disaster... only to cause more. Amida Volcarona makes a life altering sacrifice to save the world.
