Public notes

* Giovanni explains that he's here on behalf of a multiversal organization known as the "Overseers", who are known for watching and/or taking action when a world is being affected by other forces. This includes influxes of many offworlders at once, such as the Wayfarers or Cipher.
* Giovanni also confirms that Mew is Red, albeit a Red from a different world than Giovanni's own; Giovanni claims his world never had a "trainer like that". He does have his own son Silver, although his Silver is dealing with issues on another world and has apparently stopped challenging Giovanni after his father's apparent "change of heart".
* It seems Giovanni and Red arrived in Forlas thanks to Auriga, the Voice of Life, though Gio doesn't remember many of the specifics. Auriga was in the process of summoning someone else (first assumed to be Starr), and when Gio and Red were tasked with investigating by the Overseers, she allowed them to "hitch a ride" with the summoning she was already performing.
* The haphazard nature of this "extra" summoning seems to have contributed to Red losing his ability to think like a human.
* Giovanni apparently already knew about the Wayfarers' arrival before he got to Forlas, but arrived here before they did. When Jade speculates that time may pass at different rates between Forlas itself and Forlas's Spirit Nexus, Betel (who can reach the Wayfarers here) responds with "Oops".
* This (together with how recent the appearance of the Bulletin Board is) implies that Giovanni and Red arrived only shortly before the Wayfarers, which actually makes it unlikely that they arrived alongside Starr—it seems Auriga may have tried to summon someone else more recently, around the same time Starr asked Betel to intervene.
* Giovanni also confirms that Lucis's disappearances around the Bulletin Board have been due to Red. Lucis is the one creating Giovanni's poké balls, since he was best able to figure out how to make the concept work with Forlas's physics/metaphysics.
* The Wayfarers inform Giovanni of the existence of at least one impostor (the one who impersonated Gerome and then Nova).
* Giovanni has not spoken to Auriga again since being summoned, but says he may try to do so in his dreams after learning how the Wayfarers speak to their summoner.
