2023-12-27 - Nocwell's General Goods - Completed
Leaf once again runs into "Purple" the nidoran while they're both out shopping. This time, he's looking for much harder-to-find items: a moon stone and some rare berries. Grace joins them as they look through the shops, and as the two Wayfarers catch up, they notice that Purple seems to be able to communicate with Grace (and some of the shopkeepers) a little more directly.

Worth noting that originally, it wasn't clear whether Purple understood what others were saying to him, and other native-born pokémon (e.g. Ghaspius and Isidora) couldn't necessarily understand him, either. It's possible Purple's ability to understand, and to make himself understood to at least other pokémon, is improving.
Leaf gives Purple the letter she'd written earlier (see Offscreen Activities) in an attempt to communicate with whoever he's running these errands for.
