He accidentally uses the name Coven instead of Covenant, which Articuno clocks as a sure sign he’s had contact with the Vanguard. The conversation goes surprisingly well and they have a little heart to heart.
Articuno makes mention of their mentor, the Articuno-Of-Ice whom they were clearly very close with, describing her as even more of a longtermist than them. (She came to terms, they say, with the end of all things.)
They have not yet found a worthy successor to her, but are always looking for one.
