* The team is able to defeat Moltres, even after she gives into shadow in frustration.* During the battle, contact with Moltres's geists shows the Wayfarers glimpses of her past in Tsainan. They see a kindly old fire/Kantonian moltres who grows ill and dies after some strange laughing fits, and a group of mortal nobles.* There is a tradition for moltres saints: the current Kantonian moltres, the Blazing Dawn, mentors the newly-ascended Galarian moltres, the Blazing Twilight, until they've fully matured into their powers. When the current Dawn dies, the Twilight mentors the new Dawn in turn, and so on.* The Blazing Dawn was poisoned by the Tsainanese nobles, who'd substituted his medicine for lookalike reviser seeds and oren berries. They'd wanted control over the Dawn's relic so they could choose his successor. Moltres (unaware of the poisoning) did her best to serve as a guardian of the local people anyway, but when a volcanic eruption threatened, the nobles convinced the emperor to ignore her warnings. She tried to stop the eruption and failed, and many were killed in the disaster. She left Tsainan in shame.* Ever since then, Moltres has wanted others to share in her frustration with those in power. She's been destroying Blaguarro's property in an attempt to get the citizens angry enough to do something about it, but hasn't made it clear that she expects the Blaguarrans to redirect their anger at her toward the people who are really harming them.* Moltres has met the Covenant's Lord Articuno. She doesn't like them because they criticized her behavior and decisions instead of helping her.* In order to keep an eye on Moltres, the group suggests that she talk to Gerome at the Zera. They're sure he'll be able to find something productive for her to do. She consents to this, at least for the time being.
