Moltres indicates she's doing this so people will 'learn' that life is inherently cruel and unfair and they should fight it. She indicates she dislikes Zapdos, for thinking 'acting mindless is a way to put up with his own failures'. Eventually, Moltres flies off towards the railway, and Dave and Mhynt follow using Mhynt's Teleport. Both of them summon their Hidden Powers for the first time to attack Moltres, but she hits them with Spite and shakes them off, saying she'll relish pulling them down to her level as she flies on.
