Isidora and Ghaspius performed in a contest that involved improvising coordinated moves based on a story, but the pairs involved had to communicate in silence. The two of them, under the aliases Tempest and Mr. Spooks, ended up winning with a pair of necklaces each in the shape of a bird's wings. One necklace depicted the wing holding a pen, and the other an unfurled scroll. Ghaspius gave his half to Isidora.

Bellatrix spoke with the barista of the Cliffside Café, Oricorio, and her husband, Marowak Gray, the town blacksmith. The three of them shared a bit of gossip, and Bellatrix shared her story of the Sun, Moon, and Stars from her home.

The contest announcers were Quagsire Paz, a mill worker, and Masquerain Amelia, the general store manager. Bellatrix learned that the two are married, but one of the other mill workers, a stubborn Vibrava named Lente, has a crush on the Quagsire.

Silver met with Starly Tsuya, a mail-mon apprentice with a penchant for action novels. She appears to be the daughter of a Staraptor that performed on stage and Swellow Torria, the Librarian. She's a huge fan of Silver!
