Background

Espurr used to be a perfectly normal grade schooler, before she was zapped away to another grade school where things were also normal except everyone was pokemon, and so was she. She copes largely by finding creative ways to make fun of it and seeing what she can get up to that everyone in charge is definitely okay with, absolutely; in no way would she EVER purposefully break rules. (Unless those rules are actually suggestions, of course, which they more often than not are. Many don't know this!)

Espurr is practical and relatively sarcastic, but also somewhat easily excitable and can be quite nosy. She fancies herself a sherlock holmes, and is often very wrong but admirably thorough and dedicated to it. She's bookish, and has Opinions about most every series under the sun (Percy Parker 4 -7 were NOTHING like 1 - 3 and the author lost the plot, 6/10), as well as a wealth of genuine knowledge because that's what happens when you spend your free time being a heretic and reading textbooks for leisure. Though reserved, and a little convinced she'll die of social overexposure at some point, she values loyalty and friendships greatly and will stand up for other people in a heartbeat--even if it involves severely Breaking The Rules or could have large consequences.

The points where she thinks she's the smartest are usually the points where she's the most horribly, awfully wrong. This often gets her in trouble, but it hasn't yet gotten her hurt--she's just that bigbrained!

Mind Reader - Espurr's psychic presence manifests passively, allowing her to notice minute things from the emotional wavelengths others give off to small changes in sounds and in the background around her. If she concentrates before firing off a move, there's a lot she'd pick up about her opponent that the average person might not, all of it immensely helpful before landing a blow...
