Alchemist for Miractus Practical Solutions

Background

Once a merchant of potions and other strange concoctions, this free-spirited Mismagius takes life at his own pace. Whether he's experimenting with his brews to an occasionally irresponsible degree or picking up dated phrases like "groovy" to add to his vernacular, one will always find this alchemist doing what he desires first and foremost over what others believe he should be doing.

And yet, beneath it all lays a strange conviction beneath his hat. When it comes to the sick, the ill, and the weak, his words become soothing and sincere, and his efforts become more directed. If there is a medical remedy to be found, he will dash to the ends of the planet and back to retrieve it. And beneath his breath, one could hear him muttering that he will one day he would develop a panacea that would cure anyone, even his sister.

RP guidelines

• Ghaspius takes on a generally relaxed and playful attitude to the point of being occasionally one-track minded, forgetful, or inattentive. He tends to shrug off the little things easy, and he loves a good pun, so expect more lighthearted or whimsical RP from him in general.

• However, when it comes to the sick, feeble, or weak, he takes a much more paternal role with a soft tone and drops a lot of his whimsy in favor of trying to give sincere advice and help. He is willing to offer a shoulder and some self-made medicine when he sees someone in trouble. He would be someone to reach out to if your character feels stuck or ill.

• However, in, matters of personal freedom, he gets serious and digs his heels in its favor. If your character is one about strict rules and ensuring everyone around follows them, expect him to find it distasteful. A topic to bring up if you're looking for a character to have a heated discussion with.

• He falls quiet if asked about his parents — insisting that he was found by the Sun Tribe who raised him and his sister, and nothing more. If your character was an orphan or no longer with their parents, this would be a topic they could relate with him on!

Exceptional move

Metronome - Ghaspius's alchemic creations range from a mix of typical medicines to explosive concoctions. Sometimes he gets so excited to try out new experiments not even he knows what kinds of effects they'll have! He's not sure whether it's learning from doing or just from having huffed so many of these strange fumes, but it seems that on occasion, his moves will be just as unpredictable!

Hidden Power: Soul Mend

Inflicts damage based on the user's Resistance, instead of Magic. Spend Y tempo to Cure an ally in the same Zone of one mundane physical ailment.

Ghaspius's will to defy the harshness of reality combined with his passion for alchemy and medicine manifests in one of his tassels transforming into the goop of an Alolan Muk.

Like the slime monster, this goop can squash, stretch, and shrink up to a point, and cleans surfaces that it strikes.

However, this particular goop's magical properties allows to it restore and mend materials — including minor harm done to allies — provided it has enough matter to work with.
